While there has been few details revealed about Marvel's upcoming "Doctor Strange" movie starring British heartthrob Benedict Cumberbatch, a new development suggest that there's a new cast included in the line up.
The dark superhero film originally scheduled for a Nov. 4, 2016 release date is actively gearing up as new reports claim that veteran actress Tilda Swinton is already in negotiations to play a role in the film.
According to Hollywood Reporter "the actress is in negotiations to join Benedict Cumberbatch in Marvel Studios'Doctor Strange, being directed by Scott Derrickson."
While the actress or Marvel have yet to confirm the reports, the publication added that the 54-year-old British actress is going to portray a very challenging role.
"The actress is negotiations to portray the Ancient One, the Tibetan mystic who is a mentor to Dr. Strange," the publication revealed.
As for lead male actor Benedict Cumberbatch, the newly wed star is reportedly trying to get all beefed up for his portrayal of Stephen Strange.
According to reports, the 38-year-old "Sherlock" star is getting ready to be in the likes of other Marvel superheroes namely, Thor, Captain America and Star Lord, who are portrayed by hunk actors Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans and Chris Pratt.
Apparently, Cumberbatch is determined to bring justice to his character that he is "wolfing double the daily amount of calories and spending hours with a personal trainer," according to The Sun.
Adding, "Dr Strange was always muscly in the cartoons so Benedict has to look the part when they start filming in the autumn.
"Skinny Sherlock Holmes will be the last thing anyone thinks about."
