Eva Longoria split from New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, according to multiple reports.
A representative for Sanchez confirmed the split Tuesday, telling Us Weekly, "Mark adores and respects Eva. It really was about scheduling more than anything else. They will remain close friends." Longoria's representative separately confirmed the breakup toTMZ.com.
"They just have completely different schedules and lifestyles," according to the report.
Eva Longoria, 37, and Mark Sanchez, 25, dated for a couple of months this year. Longoria first officially acknowledged the relationship last month during an interview with "Extra" host, Mario Lopez. The "Desperate Housewives" said: "Mark and I are, you know, fine. We're happy just dating."
Sanchez had been linked to actresses Hayden Panettiere and Jamie-Lynn Sigler and model Kate Upton. Meanwhile, Longoria filed for divorce from her husband of three years, San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker, in November 2010, citing irreconcilable differences.
Eva Longoria split from singer Eduardo Cruz, brother of Oscar-winner Penélope Cruz in June this year after dating him for several months. Longoria was also married to actor Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004.
Sanchez appears to have already started to move on after being spotted flirting with other women in downtown NYC over the weekend. Sanchez told pals about the breakup Tuesday night at Manhattan hotspot Toy.
According to TMZ, Longoria has been in the process of getting three tattoos that she got while she was married to Tony Parker. She got his shirt number nine tattooed on the back of her neck, their wedding date on her wrist and Tony's initial's in an undisclosed part of her body.
