Terrible 'Aloha' Movie Review Reaches Director Cameron Crowe Who Apologizes For Casting Emma Stone As Asian

As hard it is to accept, the latest film starring Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone was poorly made. According to various "Aloha" movie reviews, the romantic-comedy drama did not live up to expectations and committed gross mistakes.

Despite its strong cast line up that also includes Alec Baldwin, Bill Murray, and Rachel McAdams, the film failed to impress, leading to its dismal box office performance.

Terrible "Aloha" movie review has reached director Cameron Crowe and is particularly apologetic about the casting of Emma Stone as an Asian lady.

"Thank you so much for all the impassioned comments regarding the casting of the wonderful Emma Stone in the part of Allison Ng. I have heard your words and your disappointment, and I offer you a heartfelt apology to all who felt this was an odd or misguided casting choice," Crowe wrote in an essay posted on his website adding he is the one to blame.

Several "Aloha" movie review are particularly critical of Stone's casting. Although Crowe said the story on the life of a real-life red-headed woman, he said he hear what people say about it.

"I am grateful for the dialogue," the director continued. "And from the many voices, loud and small, I have learned something very inspiring. So many of us are hungry for stories with more racial diversity, more truth in representation, and I am anxious to help tell those stories in the future."

Overall "Aloha" movie review in Rotten Tomatoes is at 18%, with critics consensus blasting it for being meandering and insubstantial. The review even said this could the least compelling of all of Crowe's work. Right, "Aloha" has earned $11.7 million dollars from a budget of $37 million.

"Aloha" tells the story of a defense contractor Brian Gilcrest (Cooper) who fell in love for an Air Force pilot Allison Ng (Stone) in Hawaii.
