'Hannibal' Season 3 Premiere Episode Will Also Feature A Former Lecter Victim, Bryan Fuller Names Characters He Want To Bring Back

| By

"Hannibal" season 3 premiere episode is reported to be more about the relationship between Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and Dra. Bedelia du Maurier (Gillian Anderson).

The two are in Italy posing as couple while looking for a new victim. Earlier reports also said the pilot of the NBC horror TV series will feature multiple timeline.

So it is sure "Hannibal" season 3 premiere will not see Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) who is still in the United States recovering from knife wounds. One character who is a bit similar to Will appear in the pilot though.

Series creator Bryan Fuller said Abel Gideon, played by Eddie Lizard, will appear in the "Hannibal" season 3 premiere. Gideon started as a friend to Hannibal in the show's sophomore run. By the end of the season, he became another victim of the cannibal doctor.

"We have an Abel Gideon story in the very first episode [of Season 3], and we flash back to what happens to Abel's remaining limbs," Fuller said in an interview with Yahoo TV ahead of the "Hannibal" season 3 premiere tomorrow.

"I love working with Eddie, and I hope to keep working with him. He's, I think, one of the greatest minds of our generation, in terms of not just his comedy, but his philosophy. I love that he promotes thought in comedy."

Fuller also named Amanda Plummer's Katherine Pimms and Jonathan Tucker, and others as among the characters he want to bring in "Hannibal" season 3.

"We absolutely have talked about bringing Jonathan Tucker back. Jonathan, Amanda... and Lance Henriksen is someone in particular we've talked about bringing back quite a bit. And [Eldon] Stammets, our mushroom man; we've talked about doing a great prison cell for him that is essentially wall-to-wall mushrooms. One of the fun things about doing this show, particularly in the first two seasons, when there were guest actors coming in weekly, was the crazy amount of talent that we got to work with. So it's always in the back of my mind, trying to wedge in a way to bring back some of these actors, because they were so delightful."

"Hannibal" season 3 premiere on June 4 in the US and other selected countries.
