‘Deadpool’ Has Wrapped Up Filming! Ryan Reynolds Thanked Fans For Their Support! The Antihero Will Join The ‘X-Men’ Mutants Next?

| By

Ryan Reynolds recently announced that they have wrapped up filming "Deadpool." He thanked fans for all the support they gave the movie.

"#Deadpool has been a privilege to make. And we got to make this film because of you. Gonna eat a samich now. #wrapped" he wrote on Twitter.

It took years before they made a standalone movie for the Marvel superhero but the filming went on smoothly and finished in several months.

The 38-year-old actor has kept his fans updated through the use of social media. He had posted behind-the-scenes photos but continued to reach out to his fans by thanking them.

He even shared a comment from one of his followers on Instagram. The best thing liked about this was despite the fact that Ryan was always begging and pleading with the studios for this movie to be made, he only gave the credit to his fans.

He could have very easily taken the credit or at least split it, but no, he gave it all to the fans which, to me, shows that he really wants to do this right for them and that he respects them. At least this is how I see it," matrix86 wrote.

Now that the cast and crew have finished filming "Deadpool," many fans are wondering what's next for the character. There were reports that Ryan Reynolds may wear his suit again as he joins the "X-Men" mutants.

According to Movie Pilot, while Wade Wilson is likely to see our Merc With a Mouth seeking some revenge on the people behind the Weapon X program, less is known about where Hugh Jackman's Wolverine might be headed in 'Wolverine 3'.

The website previously reported the possibility of Ryan Reynolds appearing alongside Hugh Jackman again. The anti-hero and the mutant have a weird love hate relationship. So "Wolverine 3" may turn out to be a buddy movie just like "Lethal Weapon." They also reported that the third sequel may end up becoming deep and wacky like "Guardians of the Galaxy" when they realized that they are living a horrible life.

Catch Ryan Reynolds and the rest of the "Deadpool" cast on February 12, 2016. Since the trailer isn't out yet, check out the leaked test footage below:
