In past reports about "Jane The Virgin" season 2, the show's main writer Jennie Snyder Urman revealed that Jane will get his son back right away. Sin Rostro's kidnapping of the baby won't be "the engine of the second season."
If baby Mateo's kidnapping won't be the main focus of the series when it returns this Fall, what exactly will the characters face throughout the season?
Will Jane's virginity finally be addressed more seriously?
Technically, the new mother already gave birth the natural way but she did keep her promise not to have sex with anyone before getting married. It would only be logical then to have Jane marry Michael or Rafael first before really giving her v-card up.
On that note, who will she pick between Michael and Rafael? Rather, will she have time to think about getting it on with either one while there's another young man who's going to be demanding all of her attention in "Jane The Virgin" season 2?
Nevertheless, Snyder Urman and Ben Silverman are excited to reach the point when Jane finally loses her virginity. In fact, they're already thinking about what to do with the title when that finally happens.
"I can't wait till the show reaches that point," the headwriter gushed to Deadline. "When it does, then we have a very intertextual vocabulary on our shows that will stamp on 'Jane The Virgin'. And then when she loses her virginity, you'll see a line go through the 'Virgin' and then that'll be the title."
Whether she'll lose it to Michael or Rafael, however, still remains a mystery.
Although Jane gave Rafael a chance to be a part of their son's life, she still couldn't fully trust her ex-boyfriend enough to restart their relationship. She was also getting confused with her past feelings for Michael slowly coming back to her towards the end of season one.
Fans will have to wait until "Jane The Virgin" season 2 to find out who Jane will chose to get married and eventually lose her virginity to.
