Lebron James – Michael Jordan Comparison? Detroit Pistons Legend Says He'll Pick Cavs Star, No Question!!

| By

Lebron James - Michael Jordan comparison is alive again after the previous reached the NBA finals for the four straight times.

In his return to his hometown, King James has again lead Cleveland Cavaliers to NBA's biggest stage, hoping to give the team its first ever championship.

Cavs swept Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference, 4-0 with Lebron James leading the way. What is more amazing is they did it without 2/3 of their big three with Kevin Love already out of the season and Kyrie Irving getting sidelined (except game four) by injury.

Comparisons with the Chicago Bulls legend is something that has been going ever since Lebron James broke into the spotlight. Even before he entered NBA when he announced his idol is the six-time champion, Lebron James - Michael Jordan comparison is already rampant.

With the four-time MVP breaking playoffs record here and there, fans can't help but pick who is better between the two, although it is totally unnecessary.

For a Detroit Pistons legend, picking between Lebron James and Michael Jordan should not even be a question. For him, it is automatic to pick Lebron who he thinks is a triple threat.

"There's no question I would take LeBron James," said Bill Laimbeer during his appearance at the Dan Partick show. Leimbeer was a player with Cleveland Cavaliers for two years before moving to Detroit Pistons and stated there for 11 years.

His point in the Lebron James - Michael Jordan debate? He thinks Lebron can do more compared to the six time champion that ruled the 90s.

"He can do more. Michael Jordan could score and make big shots and look spectacular at times with wild flying dunks, but LeBron can get you 18 rebounds, get you 15 assists or score 50 if he wants to. The triple threat that he poses is just phenomenal, and the size, he just physically dominates. It's impressive."

"Look at what LeBron has in the Finals right now. Could anybody else in the world have led this team of role players to the Finals right now? I don't think so. Jordan could not have led this team to the Finals. LeBron came into the league knowing how to play basketball and involve his teammates. Jordan had to learn that, and they had to assemble some great teammates around him in order for him to win."
