When the "Legends of Tomorrow" cast was announced by CW, many comic book fans rejoiced because it includes some of the fan favorites from the two shows where the new superhero TV series will be spun from.
The lead cast is comprised of "Arrow" stars Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer) and Caity Lotz (Sarah Lance), as well as "The Flash" favorites Victor Garber (Dr. Martin Stein), Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold), and Dominic Purcell (Heatwave).
While the "Legends of Tomorrow" cast line up appears appealing for many, some can't help but ask, why are villains teaming up with the good guys?
Captain Cold and Heatwave were good nemesis to The Flash (Barry Allen). In "The Flash" - "Arrow" spinoff series, does this mean they have turned their backs from wreaking havoc to innocents? Talking to Entertainment Weekly, Wentworth Miller cleared Captain Cold's relationship with other heroes might not really go smooth.
"I hope the answer is no on the way to yes," the "Legends of Tomorrow" lead cast told EW when asked if Captain Cold and Heatwave will work together with heroes like The Atom, Firestorm, Rip Hunter, and Hawkgirl.
"Because if you stuff a bunch of rabid dogs in a barrel and roll it downhill, that's something that's worth watching."
However, despite his evil tendencies, Miller's Captain Cold does have a softer side.
"In his relationship with his sister, you see he does have a heart. And there are people that he's willing to put ahead of himself, so now that he's aligned with these good guys, for better or worse, they're going to start influencing him and his way of thinking. I'm excited to explore his shades of gray so we see he's not just a villain, he's a man."
Also part of the "Legends of Tomorrow" cast are Arthur Davill who will play Rip Hunter and newcomer Ciara Renee who will be the face behind Hawkgirl who made her first appearance in the finale of "The Flash" this month.
