With such devoted followers, it's not unusual for fans to declare that Taylor Swift's songs save lives. In a recent car crash involving three of the "Bad Blood" singer's concert goers, her songs really did save their lives.
According to WBRZ News, three fans got into a car accident after attending the "1989" tour in Louisiana. Thankfully, the concert merchandise on their wrists prevented driver Elizabeth Dazzio, her sister and a friend from getting any serious injuries from the crash.
Dazzio was reportedly knocked unconscious by the impact leaving her sister, Caroline, and their friend trapped inside the car.
"You could smell the gas and smoke," Caroline Dazzio said when she was interviewed. "I was just thinking we need to get out of this car."
With two of their phones turned off and the third misplaced inside the wrecked car, they remembered the concert merchandise on their wrists. The wristbands were reportedly synced to light up to Taylor Swift's songs.
They used the glowing bracelets were used as flares and eventually caught the attention of a woman passing by. She helped bring the girls out of the car along with another man.
"She could tell that there was someone in the car," Dazzio continued to share to the news site.
Athough Elizabeth Dazzio was admitted to a hospital following the crash, she is, nonetheless, expected to be released soon.
The "Shake If Off" songstress caught wind of the news and was quick to sympathize with her fans.
"This is unreal. I'm so happy they're okay," Swift posted on Twitter, along with a link to the new site.
It's not only Taylor Swift's songs that give fans inspiration and hope. The 25-year-old superstar has been known to give random surprises for her avid followers. She paid off a fan's school loans, tracked down another who waited 20 hours in the cold for her and surprised a bride-to-be during her bridal shower, among others.
