"Masters of Sex" season 3 premiere is on July 12, just more than one month away. This new teaser video released by the show will only make waiting more painful for fans.
Last season, Bill Masters (Michale Sheen) and Virginia Johnson (Lizzy Caplan) grew aware that what they're doing to Libby (Caitlin Fitzgerald) is wrong. In the new video, there is no confrontation between the two women. Instead, it seems to be they are on board with the twisted story as in the clip, Libby and Virginia shared a kiss.

According to earlier spoilers, "Masters of Sex" season 3 premiere episode will see a time jump from where it left off in the second season finale. Based on the teaser video from EW, it seems Dr. Masters and his apprentice will now go mainstream with their research. According to showrunner Michelle Ashford, the third season will embrace more the books of real-life Masters where the story of the show was based from.
"We start with the book, and we're going to chronicle all the different kinds of reactions they got," Ashford told EW. "What does that do to people who have been so private up until this point hiding this work? A lot of the stuff we're doing this season is about this emergence from the underground out into the light, and it's really fun because what was going on in the world at the time was the same thing. Things were going crazy."
Ashford also teased something on what to expect on the dynamics of relationship between Bill, Virginia, and Libby. She did not clarify though if the three characters will start "Masters of Sex" season 3 premiere on good terms.
"You get to see how this whole weird three-way marriage works," says Ashford. "In the last season, Libby was clear-eyed about what this was, and she's made a peace in an odd way."
