The "Dragon Ball" movie will be hosted by Funimation on August 4 through August 12, while running time and select theatres is yet to be announced. It is said to be screened in roughly 800 theatres all over US and Canada.
Though it's still months away, it is expected to sell out immediately when the tickets go on sale. So, those who are wanting to buy a ticket may sign up to Dragon Ball Z website and will be prompted via email with regard to tickets' availability. ( IGN)
The "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" movie has grossed over $33 million on the Japan box office and beats the "Fast Furious 7" on the top list, Attack of the Fanboy reported.
While the movie causes stir in North America, Goku and friends comes back on television screens in Japan with the upcoming "Dragon Ball Super" animated tv series in Japan after 18 years when the "Dragon Ball GT" was created by Akira Toriyama.
In addition, the 78-year-old voice actor Masako Nozawawill confirmed that he will return to voice the characters of Goku, Gohan and Goten.
"I've used the word "cho" (super) in so many commercials, games and other media, it is fantastic that the long awaited Dragon Ball Super will finally begin," said Masako Nozawa.
"I hope that this series will last a long time and have the same impact around the world as its predecessor." (via Kotaku)
Aside from the TV series, there will also be a manga adaptation that will be written by Toyotaro, author of the "Dragon Ball Heroes" and will team up with "Dragon Ball Super" creator Akira Toriyama.
