Contrary to previous reports, Theo James is reportedly confirmed to join Kate Beckinsale in "Underworld 5" movie.
The "Divergent" actor previously said that it would be difficult for him to reprise his role in the fifth installment of the vampire-lykan themed movie franchise due to his commitment with the "Divergent" series.
"No, they have something in the works, but my involvement in it is... I think it's going be very difficult to do that with these ['Divergent'] movies, and my other commitments," the 30-year-old English actor told Digital Spy
However, according to The Hollywood Reporter James together with Beckinsale has already signed on a contract for the "Underworld 5" movie.
While the actor has yet to comment on the said news, fans can't help but ask if it has something to do with the ongoing rumors claiming that he's having an affair with his "Divergent" co-star Shailene Woodley.
Apparently, his relationship with his girlfriend Ruth Kearney is hanging on a balance because of the undeniable on-screen chemistry he's sharing with Woodley.
And while the very private actor has been keeping mum about his relationship, his previous statement revealing what he wants in a girl, fueled rumors that he's crushing on his co-star.
"Let's see... I have a thing for pretty legs," Belfast Telegraph quoted James' answer."But most importantly, I like confident women. It's probably because I grew up with four strong women - my mother, grandmother and two sisters."
Allegedly, the actor was pertaining to his 5-foot-8 co-star and not his girlfriend Ruth Kearney who's only 5-foot-4-inches.
The rumors went as far as claiming that Theo James and Kearney already split up.
VC Post reported that the couple parted ways before the "Insurgent" release, thus Ruth Kearney was no where to be found during red carpet premieres.
However, the English actor is trying to keep the rumors out of bay as he keeps silent about it. Instead he said in a previous interview that he will never have any form of social media site to share anything private about his life.
"I don't think I'd want to share those elements of my private life," Theo James said of social media sites in an interview with Flaunt.
"I don't have it and I never will. Other actors I know are really good at it and they rock and roll it, but it's not for me. If I post a picture of us having a drink now and get loads of views or comments and stuff, then suddenly you're quite exposed and you're in a world of work. I just like being present."
