Is Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards' wedding ever happening?
Malik's former bandmate, Liam Payne previously confirmed rumors that he left the group for his fiancé.
"He wanted to spend time with his family and his missus," Payne reportedly told Capital FM's Lisa Snowden. "He wanted to spend time with his family and his missus. That's cool with us."
Edwards also expressed her approval of the additional time she got to spend with her beau.
"It's nice to see more of him now. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen, he's a great chef," the 21-year-old singer told The Sun according to Hollywood Life.
Despite spending more quality time together, the "Wings" singer still doesn't know when their wedding will be exactly. Due to the length of their engagement - two years in August - both good and bad rumors have already begun to circulate about their engagement.
One such speculation was that Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards' wedding would be happening sometime this summer. The songstress, however, denied those rumors.
"I don't know when the wedding will be," she confessed. "We're still planning it but I'm so busy with Little Mix now 'Black Magic' is coming out."
The delay in the preparations for their long-awaited nuptials isn't because of a rift between the lovers. If anything, Edwards insisted that they want the once-in-a-lifetime event to be special.
"Me and Zayn want it to be perfect," she shared, adding that they'll start planning it as soon as they have some free time.
"I doubt it will be this summer - but I'll let you know," she told the British paper.
While Edwards is gearing up for her own group's upcoming comeback, her boyfriend is currently working hard for his own solo career with help from music producer Naughty Boy. Their friendship caused a brief but intense online feud with Louis Tomlinson but they have reportedly resolved the issue.
