Not a really good way to start the season, "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" cast Scrappy has been slapped with a $50,000 child support case by his baby mama Erica Dixon.
According to the reality star, the rapper owed him the said amount of money worth of two years chid support, Fashion & Style reported.
"Today me and my baby father are at the lawyer's office to discuss our child support issues," Erica told the greenroom cameras in a sneak peak for "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" season 4 episode 4. "I slapped him with a content order and now his lawyer wants to see if we can settle this outside of the court. But we keep having the same fight over and over. He's saying he doesn't owe anything and I'm saying he does."
However, Scrappy is insisting that he owes no money to Erica Dixon, and that he had been taking good care of their daughter since she was born and even after they have separated.
"Erica got the nerve to be acting like I don't take care of my daughter. You ain't even [about to] drag me in the mud like that. So I'm trying to put all this stuff behind me and not go through the little court system stuff 'cause I don't want all them folk in none of my business."
In addition, Scrappy's attorney said that they can provide evidences proving of their claims.
"At the end of the day my daughter is happy. She wants for nothing. We came to a mutual agreement that she take care of her, I take care of her and anytime she need something I give it. That's what I was rolling with," Scrappy explained. "Then she pop up 'cause she not happy one day and be like, 'oh well, I'ma try to be the boss' and do stuff like that."
But Erica begged to disaggre claiming, "We've never had that type of agreement. It's been two years since he hasn't paid child support."
Scrappy then accused Erica of power tripping, questioning the time when they were still living together as an engaged couple.
"Do you count living [together]? Do you count being engaged? Living and paying bills and all that?" Scrappy asked.
"We weren't engaged then," Erica snapped.
"You're staying in the same house. Why would you give the money?" Scrappy asked.
