Previous rumors and speculations claiming that Theo James is not returning to reprise his role in "Underworld 5" movie has just been debunked.
The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported that despite prior news James will be joining Kate Beckinsale again for the fifth sequel of the vampire-werewolf themed movie franchise, which will be directed by Anna Foerster.
Furthermore, James and Beckinsale will reportedly start filming for "Underworld 5" come October in Prague.
Len Wiseman, Beckinsale's movie producer husband, previously told IGN that in addition to the upcoming sequel, there are also more installed for the post apocalyptic franchise, which include a spin-off movie and a TV series.
"There's a few things being developed right now and there's some characters that we really like," the 42-year-old writer-producer said of the "Underworld 5" movie.
"There's kind of more of a spin-off of some of the characters like we did with Rise of the Lycans and then another film is also being developed in the works with Kate possibly as well, and then there's a television series as well.
"It's kind of expanding that universe in many ways," he continued.
However, a release date is yet to be determined.
"You tell me I don't know, there's a lot of releases out there that aren't actually true.
