Lionel Messi Transfer To PSG Is Not Impossible Says French Club's President; Team's Official Also Positive About Getting Cristiano Ronaldo

| By

Lionel Messi transfer to another club is probably the last thing fans will see in at least one year. He will not move out of Camp Nou now that he found his dangerous self back after last season's slump (in his standards).

The Barcelona star scored more than 50 goals in all competitions to help his team win La Liga. His team is also still in contention for a Copa del Rey and Champions League and he is expected to play a huge role in both games. Also, taking Lionel Messi out of Barcelona will cost pursuers a lot of money.

For a Paris Saint Germain official, making Lionel Messi transfer to France is not that impossible. In an interview with Football Focus, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said contrary to what fans and pundits think, getting the services of Messi for his club is realistic. He even said that they can also sign Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, who has a heftier release clause than Messi.

"It is realistic (signing players like Messi and Ronaldo); everything is possible here in our club," said Al-Khelaifi. "Every year, our ambition is to win the Champions League. We are almost there. We are already in the top eight for the last three years, which is a good sign."

Paris Saint Germain is one of those clubs who were once hit by Financial Fair Play rule. It is notorious for signing big time players for big amount. Al-Khelaifi said if FFP will be changed, then Lionel Messi transfer is more feasible. In an earlier interview with BBC, the PSG chief said UEFA should make FFP rule fairer.

"We've been telling our friends in UEFA that (the current FFP rules) really are not fair, especially now with the TV rights in the Premier League. FFP will be there, so it's going to be difficult not only for us but for the Germans and the Spanish. In four years, if they don't change it, you'll find four Premier League clubs in the Champions League semi-finals."
