It is just two weeks before the "Hannibal" season 3 premiere and fans of the NBC horror TV series better get themselves ready for a huge pilot episode.
It is an open secret that the first episode of the show's third run will be more about the relationship of Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and Dr. Bedelia du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) while they are in Italy posing as couple. However, that might not be all that.
According to a new spoiler, "Hannibal" season 3 premiere episode will still be filled with what the show is known of, cannibalism. The report also said there will be multiple timelines, probably scenes featuring Hannibal's past with Bedelia.
"If you thought the highly ambitious drama might start phoning it in with Season 3, be gone with that silly thought right now. Seriously," TV Line wrote about the "Hannibal" season 3 premiere when a fan asked for a spoiler.
"Rather, the NBC series is as visually rich and aurally sumptuous as ever, and the June 4 premiere's opening narrative is the show's most intricate one yet, bopping around between multiple timelines. The opener introduces one of Hannibal's most disturbing dinner guests yet, during which you'll learn a ProTip or two (including: acorns!) about next-level cannibalism."
Series developer previously discussed the "Hannibal" season 3 premiere with Digital Spy wherein he said the pilot will be different from the past episodes.
"And then episode one ['Antipasto'] is all about Bedelia and her relationship with Hannibal Lecter, so it really does feel like 'What are we watching?' Will Graham isn't in it, none of the other characters that you've been familiar with, it's just Hannibal and Bedelia, and their history over three different periods of time."
"Hannibal" season 3 premiere is on June 4. Other characters who survived the blood bath in second season finale are Lecter's nemesis Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) Agent Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne), Dr. Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas), and Abigail Hobbs (Kacey Rohl).
