Months ago, it seemed unlikely that Prince Harry and engagement would be uttered in the same sentence due to the royal's party boy reputation.
However, the fifth-in-line to the throne revealed his growing desire to settle down during an interview in New Zealand thanks to his niece's birth earlier this month.
Speculations as to who he most likely would be marrying in the near future started popping up and several women that were linked to the prince in the past were mentioned.
The 30-year-old was most recently linked to model and actress Cressida Bonas for two years before the couple separated last year. He was later rumoured to have been pursuing "Harry Potter" star and famed gender equality activist Emma Watson. The actress denied the speculations via Twitter.
However, it's his ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy who is currently speculated to have the best chance at becoming the next princess. They dated on and off from 2004 to 2010.
According to The Independent, Princess Charlotte's uncle is pursuing the lawyer again.
"Chelsy has always been the one for Harry. They might have been apart for a while, but they're a natural match and they've enjoyed seeing each other again. They're back on and seeing what happens," the site quoted a source from British magazine Grazia.
Davy allegedly has to decide now whether to pursue the relationship or not. Could Prince Harry be announcing his engagement with Chelsy Davy soon?
"She knows what life with him entails, but they've been through so much together," the insider continued. "Announcing that he is ready to settle down publicly is his way of showing her he's serious."
The site also revealed that the couple has already planned a series of dates, including a trip to South Africa to visit Davy's parents.
Do you think Prince Harry's engagement will be announced soon?
