Katy Perry was recently spotted getting cozy with her ex-boyfriend John Mayer at the Met Gala.
Sources told Perez Hilton that the 30-year-old pop sensation and the 37-year-old singer spent most of the night hanging out and chatting with other celebrities together.
"The twosome was also spotted locking lips and holding hands inside the Boom Boom Room at the hotel!" their source said.
Based on the reports, it seems that the former lovebirds are back together. Katy Perry and John Mayer started dating after her breakup from her husband Russell Brand in 2012.
During an interview with The Daily Telegraph, the "Roar" hitmaker was asked if she has talked to the 39-year-old English actor since their divorce.
"He [Russell] hasn't spoken to me since he texted me saying he was filing for divorce," Katy admitted. "I don't want to talk about him - my songs will say what I need to say." The star of "Arthur" got married to the "Dark Horse" singer in 2010, but he suddenly called it quits in 2012.
This isn't the first time that Katy Perry had a heart break that's why she was asked if she will have some hesitations when she finds love again.
"No, absolutely not. I'm excited by whatever it brings. I'm excited by my own evolution," she said. "I don't want to end up bittersweet. I have to evolve, I have to continue to push people's perceptions of me. As an artist I like to do that, keep people on the edge of their seats."
Maybe that's the reason why she's willing to take another risk with John Mayer. However, both parties haven't confirmed the real status of their relationship. The Daily Telegraph correspondent also asked Perry if she's been thinking about having her own children soon.
"I'm still growing up, I'm still learning about myself. When I become a mother I just want to become a mother and be dedicated to that," the songstress said. Apart from Russell Brand and John Mayer, Katy Perry has dated and romantically linked with other famous musicians such as Matt Thiessen, Diplo, Josh Groban, and Travie McCoy.
"I always thought you could have a relationship and success. For a modern woman it's important to be supported and that there is equality in every aspect," she explained. "And it's not two halves that make a whole. It's two wholes that make a whole."
