Injured Kevin Love Will Leave Cleveland Cavaliers When Free Agency Hits. Sources Claim

| By

For the first time in his career, Kevin Love finally reached the playoffs. The seven-year veteran joined Cleveland Cavaliers from Minnesota Timberwolves at the start of the 2014-15 season.

However, he was injured in Game 4 of first round match against Boston Celtics when he tangled with Kelly Olynyk during a rebound play. Before Lebron James-led Cavs found their mojo in NBA, there were talks that Kevin Love, who is yet to be seen in Cavs' games against Atlanta Hawks, is not really comfortable with the Ohio-based franchise. It seems this discomfort continues despite their recent success.

Kevin Love injury is preventing him from accompany his team in the arena. However, as per news sources, that might not be the sole reason why he is absent in team's battles.

During a podcast with Zach Lowe, via Real GM, ESPN's Brian Windhorst said he talked to some of Kevin Love's friends and staff and the power forward seems to be keen on leaving Cleveland Cavaliers once free agency opens.

"Every executive I talk to, every agent I talk to, every quasi insider, every girlfriend's cousin's sister's boyfriend all says this guy is out of there," said Brian Windhorst said.

Zach Lowe second Windhorst's opinion and for him it is unbelievable. He also said the Los Angeles Lakers plays a role in Kevin Love's hesitation to stat in Cleveland.

Their talk on the podcast goes:

LOWE: PART OF WHAT'S GOING ON THERE IS THE LAKERS' BOOGEYMAN. THEY DON'T JUST SAY HE'S OUT OF THERE, THEY SAY 'HE'S GOING TO THE LAKERS.' THAT HAS MUCH TO DO WITH THE FEAR PEOPLE HAVE OF THE LAKERS AS IT DOES WITH KEVIN LOVE.

WINDHORST: I CAN'T GET A READ ON KEVIN. HIS PERSONALITY IS A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT THAN MANY PLAYERS I'VE COVERED. HE HAS AT EVERY TURN EVEN GONE OUT OF HIS WAY TO MAKE STATEMENTS ABOUT HOW HE INTENDS TO REMAIN IN CLEVELAND.

Right now, Kevin Love still has six months to recover from injury. Will he change his mind if ever Cavs win the championship this year?
