Vanessa Hudgens Protected Selena Gomez From Justin Bieber? Canadian Pop Star Tried To Speak To The Songstress At Rihanna’s Party!

One of the most controversial couples right now is Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber because many fans believe that they will get back together.

Both claimed that they are single even if they have been romantically linked to other celebrities. The former lovers were last seen attending the Met Gala early this May, but unfortunately they didn't bump into each other that night.

Us Weekly revealed that Vanessa Hudgens could be an accomplice in keeping Selena away from Justin at the Met Gala. The former "High School Musical" star hinted in "Watch What Happens Live" that she was somewhat responsible for keeping them apart during that night.

"She's one of my best friends and you just want to have your girlfriends' backs," Vanessa admitted. "So that's what I did. We didn't really try to avoid him or anything. I mean, no one really wants to see your ex boyfriend." Hudgens and Gomez starred in a movie together entitled "Spring Breakers" back in 2012. They remained good friends since then and were even spotted looking gorgeous at the Met Gala.

In a previous report, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Justin Bieber, and other famous celebrities were spotted attending the Met Gala after party. "Selena looked really happy," an eyewitness told the website. "She seemed to know everyone there and talked to several other celebs."

After that party, the 22-year-old singer allegedly went to Rihanna's party and the 21-year-old Canadian hitmaker was also there that night. A source revealed that Bieber tried very hard to speak to Gomez but their run-in was brief.

Even if the former lovebirds didn't get to talk that night, the "Boyfriend" singer managed to express his admiration for the "I Want You To Know" hitmaker.

MTV reported that Justin rolled down the windows of his car after leaving the after-party and yelled to the crowd "Hey, Selena looked gorgeous at the Met Ball."
