Following the huge success of Random Access Memories album two years ago, Daft Punk is reportedly working on a new record.
While the Grammy award-winning electronic funk duo refused to reveal details, people who are close to them are slowly giving out hints claiming that a new album is indeed on the way.
House music producer Paul Johnson teased fans on Facebook commenting,
"They're working on a new house album right now Norman," he confirmed referring to Daft Punk's new album.
Furthermore, Harder Blogger Faster teased that the new album of Daft Punk is most likely going to be released on Jay Z's new music streaming service called Tidal.
Apparently, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel De Homem-Christo, who are also co-owners of the new music streaming service, is about to take advantage of the platform to surprise their fans and launch their new album.
While there is still no news of the release date, the electronic funk duo is about to release a double vinyl version of their "Alive 2007 Live Set" album, which is currently available on CD and digital download, Glide Magazine reported.
Like the "Random Access Memories" album, the 2009 record also won Grammy Awards including Best Electronic Album and Best Electronic Single.
Meanwhile, "Randon Access Memories" won Best Dance/Electronica Album, Best Engineered Album (Non-Classical) including Record of the Year award in 2013's Grammy Awards.
As if that's not enough, the duo together with Pharell Williams also won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the hit song Get Lucky.
