NBA finals is just around the corner, following the winning streak of both Lebron James' Cleveland Cavaliers and Stephen Curry's Golden State Warriors.
While it's not yet sure whether the two teams will meet in the finals, the odds are in favor of the two, having 2-0 and 3-0 standing respectively.
In line with the events, avid fans of the basketball game are also expecting an "NBA 2K16" PS4 release date this year, more specifically in October, based on the game's history of its previous releases.
And while there has been no official announcement on "NBA 2K16" PS4 release date, other details about the game are somehow being ironed out.
According to Polygon, filmmaker Spike Lee is going to follow the footsteps of Jay Z and Pharell Williams by doing the soundtrack of "NBA 2K16."
While it's not yet official, the speculations started to spread when "leaked" photos of Lee with James Harden, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry were posted on Instagram, the captioned said,
"I'm starring the new Spike Lee joint!"
In addition, New York Post reported that Spike Lee was "in San Francisco working on an NBA video-game project."
In line with the photos posted on Instagram, there's an ongoing rumbling that NBA 2014-2015 Most Valuable Player, Stephen Curry will be in the cover of the upcoming game, together with James Harden and previous cover, Kevin Durant.
According to IGN, 2K Sports will most likely feature the three superstars in the game.
And while fans are still waiting for the official announcement of "NBA 2K16" PS4 release date, NBA2K4Life revealed that in addition to the face scans introduced in the current game, the upcoming game will now feature body scans.
Reportedly, NBA players from different teams have already went through a scanning process for the game, as seen in these Twitter posts.
