'Empire' Season 2 Spoiler News: Hakeem Will Have New Style, Filming Starts In A Few Weeks

| By

There is not much "Empire" season 2 spoiler around but for the fans of Hakeem, Bryshere Gray has something for you. The up and coming actor and rapper said his character might look different come next season.

That is because he is about to give him a make over. The actor is the one styling Hakeem and for the hit Fox TV series' sophomore run, the youngest son of Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) will sport a new look.

"I'm probably the only character that gets to style himself," Gray said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "But the thing is, I kinda styled the character how I dress, so maybe next season I'll water it down a little bit."

Gray also shared an "Empire" season 2 spoiler regarding his character's transition. However, he did not say if it will be for the better or not.

"I know it's gonna be crazy. As for my character, Hakeem Lyon, he's gonna transition," he teased. "I can't tell you if it's good or bad. But the Lyon family, it's very dysfunctional right now."

"Empire" season 2 premiere is set this fall and will still air every Wednesday. Earlier reports confirmed the second season will have 18 episodes, six more than its freshman season.

The show has also confirmed appearances of top music and movie stars like Chris Rock, Alicia Keys, and Lenny Kravitz. Other names being courted to join the show are Oprah, Eminem, and Denzel Washington. Singer song-writer Ne-Yo is also in and will work with Timbaland as song producer.

"We've also got amazing guest stars that have lined up to be on the show that will help us not only bring back an audience that fell in love with the show, but help expand it as well," said Fox co-chairman and CEO Dana Walden.
