The very charming former childstar Dakota Fanning is now all grown up, and while she's busy with her acting career, she's also busy with her boyfriend Jamie Strachan.
Despite all the breakup rumors surrounding their relationship, the couple remains to be strong, as she proudly tells the world how lucky she is with her boyfriend, Daily Mail reported.
"I'm super-happy," she said of her relationship with her 33-year-old boyfriend. "I think love is very important and it's really fun to have someone to experience things with. It makes everything a bit more special."
Adding, "People love who they love and you go with that. People get so stuck in rules for life. You go with what feels right."
The breakup rumors reportedly started since Dakota Fanning has been seldomly seen together with her boyfriend.
However, the couple was recently photographed in a rare outing together in New York, Daily Mail reported.
"She has previously said she is 'super happy' in her relationship with Jamie Strachan," the publication reported.
"And no doubt Dakota Fanning was glad to be spending time with her 33-year-old model beau as they enjoyed an afternoon stroll in New York City on Sunday. The 21-year-old bundled up in a matching navy scarf and coat for the Big Apple weather in the forties as she strolled alongside Jamie who is over 12 years her senior."
In addition to her love life, the "Effie Grey" star's career is also flourishing, the actress is not only interested in mastering the craft of acting, she is also interested in directing.
"I've always known that I want to be a director, but I've also learned that I would love to find my own material and develop that," she admitted according to Indie Wire. "Maybe not even be in it; developing projects, as well, instead of just being a passive person in your career, waiting for things to come along. That can be frustrating sometimes, and I'm looking forward to being very active on that side. I would love to direct one day."
