Rumors that Dakota Johnson and boyfriend Matthew Hitt have broken up became rampant following the box office success of the erotica movie adaptation to E.L. James novel "50 Shades of Grey."
However, such rumors were put to rest when the 25-year-old actress and her Drowners guitarist boyfriend were spotted together.
"Dakota Johnson walks to location on the set of How to Be Single with her boyfriend by her side on Monday (April 27) in New York City,"Just Jared reported.
Adding, "the 25-year-old actress was rumored to have broken up with Matthew back in December. The pair were soon seen out together once again earlier this month!
We're glad to see they're still together, as they haven't been spotted out together in a few weeks."
Apparently, Dakota Johnson is trying to keep her relationship with boyfriend Matthew Hitt as discreet as possible so as not to disappoint fans of the "50 Shades of Grey" movie.
She's reportedly just trying to protect her on-screen chemistry with his already married co-star Jamie Dornan, but she remains faithful to her boyfriend.
"The 25-year-old actress spent some quality time with her pet pooch, Zeppelin, in New York City," Daily Mail revealed. "With the pooch safely attached to a leather leash, Dakota was free to take a pleasant walk with her bestfriend and a cup of coffee."
Apparently the breakup rumors started with the her being famous from the "50 Shades of Grey" movie.
"And her new found fame and success could be the culprit for the breakup as a source told the publication: 'Her life was getting too crazy and it wasn't something that he wanted to be a part of,'" Daily Mail previously reported.
