‘Heroes Reborn’ Update: Is Zachary Levi The Villain Of The Mini-Series? Masi Oka To Take On The Future Version Of Hiro Nakamura!

| By

When it comes to Zachary Levi and TV shows, fans would automatically think of him as the bumbling but totally adorable nerd spy Chuck in the series with the same name. According to this new "Heroes Reborn" update, however, it looks like the 34-year-old actor will have a totally different personality in Tim Kring's reboot of the cult classic show.

IGN was reportedly one of the few privileged to see NBC's "jam-packed" new trailer (that has not been made public yet) for the 13-episode mini-series. If the site is to be believed, the clip will clear up some of the original characters' stories as well as reveal Levi's role as Luke Collins in the show.

The "dark" trailer will reportedly pick up from the last "Heroes" season when people with special abilities (EVOs) were exposed to the world. It will also show Levi as a villain who apparently is out to eliminate them.

"These powers. They're not natural. They're not safe and they can't be trusted. So as far as I can see, there's only one solution..." he reportedly said to a group of presumed EVOs before pulling a gun on them alongside his partner.

Will he be working with Noah Bennet (Jack Coleman)? Or will he be working for another company?

In a recent "Heroes Reborn" update, NBC released stills of Levi pointing a gun at someone. Other snaps of new and old characters were also uploaded on the show's official Twitter page, hyping up fans for the upcoming reboot.

Meawhile, IGN also noted that Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) made an appearance in the trailer as the sword-wielding Future Hiro and not the man-child that he was before in "Heroes".

What do you think of Levi being cast as a villain? Would you prefer to see the adorable cute-faced Hiro Nakamura or the pony-tailed, tough one from the future?

Tim Kring's remake of his former TV show will air later this Fall.
