Sylvester Stallone Clears Up Manny Pacquiao’s Casting In ‘Expendables 4”! Actor Still Impressed With Filipino Boxer Despite Defeat

Sylvester Stallone cleared up rumors of Manny Pacquiao joining the "Expendables 4" cast! Will the Filipino champ be making his Hollywood debut soon?

Sylvester Stallone is still quite impressed with Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao even though he lost the "Fight Of The Century" against Floyd Mayweathe. However, he wasn't impressed enough to include the Pound-For-Pound fighter in the "Expendables 4"!

The famed fighter was visited by various celebrities during his training in Los Angeles but one particular actor drew attention to the rumors that Pacquiao might indeed be joining the cast of the action movie.

Stallone met up with the world-renowned athlete at the Wild Card Gym in L.A. and even goofed off with him before Pacquiao travelled to Las Vegas for the big fight.

According to Inquirer, Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger talked with Pacquiao before his fight with Chris Algieri in Macau last November. The two stars of the film reportedly offered to include him in the "Expendables 4" cast.

"We haven't agreed on anything yet. Let's talk about it after the fight," Pacquiao reportedly said.

After some months of speculation, however, Sylvester Stallone finally answered the rumors about Manny Pacquiao's alleged participation in "Expendables 4".

"No, Pacquiao was never going to be in it," Stallone reportedly confirmed to TMZ Sports about the speculations. "He's a great fighter."

The actor even jokingly added, "You got to stick to us broken down actors."

However, had he won the fight against Mayweather, the 68-year-old action star told the site that the boxer definitely would have joined the cast.

"Yeah, he was going to teach us all how to box," he revealed.

Aside from Pacquiao, Stallone was also allegedly courting Jackie Chan and iconic wrestler Hulk Hogan to join the star-studded fourth instalment of the action movie franchise.

Sylvers Stallone and Manny Pacquiao would have joined legendary action stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Harrison Ford, Antonio Banderas, Wesley Snipes, Jet Li as well as Mel Gibson, Kelsey Grammer and UFC champion Ronda Rousey.

Do you think Pacquiao would have been a great addition to the "Expendables 4" cast? Do you think Stallone should change his mind about bringing the world-renowned athlete into the fray?
