Most of the minutes of the latest "Orphan Black" season 3 episode were spent on complicated reunion between Sarah and Helena (both played by Tatiana Maslany).
There are also interesting twists regarding the male clones that could set the whole season ablaze. While those two plot lines surely kept the audiences on their seats, one angle probably will not sit well with fans of Cosima is the arrival of Shay (Ksenia Solo).
Delphine (Evelyne Brochu) and Cosima broke up and to the rescue is Felix (Jordan Gavaris) who set her up on a blind date. Shay and science genius female clone clicked right away. Does this mean she and Delphine will never get back together again.
From the words of John Fawcett, looks like it would be a while to see a new "Orphan Black" season 3 episode guide talking about Delphine and Cosima playing sweet music together.
"Here's the Cophine thing-sometimes you gotta break things up and realize that what you had in the first place was the best thing," Fawcett told Entertainment Weekly when asked if he is aware Cophine shippers will be pissed off because of Shay.
"You know what I mean? For me and for [co-creator] Graeme [Manson], we just like it because it makes great drama. And I kind of want to see what it's like on the other side-is the grass greener? And you know, I feel a little bit for Cosima. Delphine's taken a new role. Delphine kind of split up with her. Cosima's been pining, she's been lonely. I like to see her have somebody, at least. I like to see her be with someone. I like to see some happiness come back into her life."
When asked what is the end game between Cosima, Delphine and Shay, the "Orphan Black" TV series creator has this to say.
Something tells me this is all going to end badly.
[Laughs] We have developed that reputation, haven't we?
