The first clip of "Arrow" - "The Flash" spinoff series "Legends of Tomorrow" has landed online, sending the comic book world in frenzy. This new show, which is expected to premiere by the middle of CW Network's 2015-2016 season, will exist in the same universe as the two hit TV series.
Now, the question is, how will it be introduced? Comics fans had first glance of "The Flash" in one of the episodes of "Arrow" in season 2. Will it be the same for "Legends of Tomorrow?" According to Victor Garber, who appeared in "The Flash" and will reprise his role in LoT, it will be through an episode of the Grant Gustin starrer series.
"I will appear on The Flash again, filming this July, before Legends of Tomorrow starts up. That will setup the team and what's next for Martin Stein, and serves as sort of a preview episode," Garber told Comicbook.com.
Aside from Garber, "Arrow" - "The Flash" spinoff series "Legends of Tomorrow" will also star other TV comic characters that appeared within the two shows.
Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell will reprise their roles as Captain Cold and Heatwave, Caity Lotz's Sarah Lance will be resurrected from the dead to become White Canary and Brandon Routh will complete the team as The Atom who appeared several times in "Arrow" season 3.
Also in the show are comic characters that have not appeared on TV before. They are Rip Hunter to be played by Arthur Darvill, Hawkgirl to be portrayed by newcomer Ciara Renee, and main villain Vandal Savage. Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin are expected to guest star as Arrow and The Flash.
