| By

"Arrow" season 3 has wrapped up. The finale of the CW Network superhero TV series saw Arrow/Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) finally defeating Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable), this season's big bad. None from the core of the team died. However, some members had to leave Team Arrow.

John Diggle (David Ramsey) is one of those who is not happy with the way things went during the earlier episodes leading to finale. He decided he could not forgive Oliver yet for kidnapping his wife and so, he walked away from the headquarters. What's next for Diggle in "Arrow" season 4?

Even before the final "Arrow" season 3 episode aired, fans have been clamoring to see the former Special Forces member to get his own mask. Some are even speculating that one day he will become famous Green Lantern John Stewart. Diggle had some great story arc this year.

He welcomed a baby, got married, and participated in a suicide mission. His story will not stop there as according to Ramsey himself, executive producers has something prepared for Diggle in "Arrow" season 4.

"I do think you need some kind of concealment," Ramsey said in an interview with Comicbook.com when told Diggle can some kind of vigilante with a mask.

"I agree with that. And to that end, they are working on something. You will see something for Diggle next year, season 4. You will."

Before that statement, Ramsey also put to rest rumors Diggle will become Green Lantern in "Arrow" season 4.

"Everyone wants to talk about John Stewart. Is it "John Stewart Diggle" or "John Diggle Stewart" or whatever, and will he be Green Lantern? There's gonna be - obviously, [EP] Marc Guggenheim has said publicly that it's not the way to go right now. But people are still talking about it.

You know, I think - and Greg Berlanti has said this publicly too, I think that they've gone to great lengths to build up the mythos and persona of John Diggle. He's become a character in the comic books! Hopefully, he stays alive in the comic books and he's around for 20 years, and someone else will play him on TV or in a movie! That's a great honor. I think they've taken great strides to making John Diggle part of the lexicon, and that's an important thing. I don't think you want to abandon that."

"Arrow" season 4 will premiere this fall.
