Following a rather peaceful relationship during "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" season 4, it seems like Scrappy and his baby mama Erica Dixon is not going to start season 5 the same way.
Prior to last episode, sneak peak trailer showed the former couple having an issue with child support.
According to Erica Dixon, her former partner owes him $50,000 worth of two years child support, Fashion & Style reported.
"Today me and my baby father are at the lawyer's office to discuss our child support issues," Erica told the greenroom cameras in a sneak peak for "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" season 4 episode 4. "I slapped him with a content order and now his lawyer wants to see if we can settle this outside of the court. But we keep having the same fight over and over. He's saying he doesn't owe anything and I'm saying he does."
Scrappy on the other hand has vehemently denied the allegations claiming that he has been taking good care of their daughter, despite Dixon's claims.
"Erica got the nerve to be acting like I don't take care of my daughter. You ain't even [about to] drag me in the mud like that. So I'm trying to put all this stuff behind me and not go through the little court system stuff 'cause I don't want all them folk in none of my business."
Furthermore, Scrappy's lawyer added that they can easily provide evidences that will prove that the rapper does not owe any child support to Erica.
"At the end of the day my daughter is happy. She wants for nothing. We came to a mutual agreement that she take care of her, I take care of her and anytime she need something I give it. That's what I was rolling with," Scrappy explained. "Then she pop up 'cause she not happy one day and be like, 'oh well, I'ma try to be the boss' and do stuff like that."
"We've never had that type of agreement," Erica whispered to her lawyer. "It's been two years since he hasn't paid child support."
Scrappy also questioned Erica's claims by pointing out the time when they were still engaged.
"Do you count living [together]? Do you count being engaged? Living and paying bills and all that?" Scrappy asked.
"We weren't engaged then," Erica snapped.
"You're staying in the same house. Why would you give the money?" Scrappy asked.
It seems that Scrappy and Erica Dixon will not be able to fix this issue out of court since their lawyers are so engaged in the case already.
"You know things are bad when the lawyers are arguing as hard as Scrappy and I do. I was really hoping that we could work through this, but it doesn't seem like that's gonna happen," Erica revealed to greenroom cameras. "So it looks like we're going to court."
