Tonight's finale episode will finally introduce Queen Elizabeth, who is at her 20s, portrayed by Rachel Skarsten of "50 Shades of Grey."
Apparently Catherine is going to offer something to Queen Elizabeth in exchange of something that would hurt Mary, who is allegedly turning against France.
"The character of Elizabeth, Queen of England, the only living child of Henry VIII and the murdered Anne Boleyn, looms over Mary Queen of Scots for the duration of her life," executive producer Laurie McCarthy revealed to Hollywood Reporter.
"Elizabeth has also, without ever stepping onto our stage, loomed over our first two seasons as a forceful and intriguing presence. I have been dying to introduce her to our characters and our audience. Because no single character understands Mary's unique circumstances more. No character is more of a threat to her happiness and her life. Elizabeth's debut in the season finale is a catalyst for events in season three, when 'Reign' will chronicle the lives, loves and tribulations of three queens: Mary, Catherine and now Elizabeth."
The fate of Mary's sovereignty could heavily rely on what will happen between the conversation of Catherine and Queen Elizabeth and this will probably be shown in "Reign" season 2 episode 22 that could be watched for free in the link here.

The finale episode titled, "Burn" is going to see not just Queen Elizabeth and her intriguing meeting with Catherine, it will also show how Mary would risk everything by planning to take the Conde down.
Mary, who apparently is pregnant is seen going to Conde's camp during the sneak peak trailer, Catherine who knew about this confronted Francis and told him, "Once again she has betrayed you."
Conde on the other hand, comes up to Mary who is dressed in a cloak saying, "You are safe now Mary. I will protect you and our child."
But could Mary be really pregnant? And if she is could Conde really be the father of her child?
