Unfortunately for the fans who are still hoping that Chris Lawrence and Gwyneth Paltrow would be able to patch things up a divorce is reportedly on its way.
Apparently the former couple has finally decided to legalized their separation and file for a divorce, TMZ exclusively reported they are already in final negotiations.
"Sources connected with the couple tell us ... Gwyneth and Chris have been using their business managers to hash out a settlement agreement involving both property and custody," the publication claimed.
"We're told the agreement has been signed and the divorce is a done deal ... all that's left is for the paperwork to be filed and signed by the judge.
As for the terms of the deal ... we're told it will not be revealed in the divorce docs ... it's all part of a confidential settlement. The couple did ask for joint legal and physical custody of their 2 kids.
We're told the divorce docs will cite irreconcilable differences, but it's all very amicable."
Could the divorce be influenced by Chris Martin's relationship with the younger Jennifer Lawrence?
JLaw's friends and family are allegedly desparate to for the actress to break up with the Coldplay frontman, Heat magazine claimed.
"Her friends and family are desperate for her to ditch Chris - they feel Liam's a better match and doesn't carry all the baggage of Gwyneth and children," the insider added.
Unfortunately, the Oscar winning actress is reportedly trying to avoid such questions that she's keeping herself busy by filming her new movie "Joy" with Bradley Cooper.
In addition, Jennifer Lawrence has been keeping her relationship with boyfriend, Chris Martin really low-keyed as they've since been seen together last Easter.
"Following his spring break trip with his family, Chris flew to New York City to meet up with girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence,Yahoo! Celebrity reported. "The Coldplay frontman, 38, and Lawrence, 24, have been stealthily dating since August - although it was rumored they briefly split last fall - but this is the first time they have been spotted together in public since Harry Styles's birthday bash on Jan. 31."
The new couple reportedly spent the Easter at Tavern on the Green in Central Park looking "very cute together, but didn't go [overboard] with PDA."
