Vanessa Hudgens has taken her singing and acting prowess to Broadway and while denied of Tony nominations, the former "Highschool Musical" star remained a positive outlook.
The 26-year-old star who is busy working on the Broadway show, "Gigi" was photographed taking a break with her good friend and "Springbreakers" co-star Selena Gomez.
"It was a work night for Vanessa Hudgens, Daily Mail reported.
But that didn't stop the star of the new Broadway production of Gigi from going out for a late-night dinner with Selena Gomez in New York's East Village after the show on Saturday evening.
The 22-year-old had turned up early to see her pal's performance as the young French courtesan in training at the Neil Simon Theatre."
The two stars who shared a number of troubled relationships in the past reportedly talked about Hudgens' boyfriend troubles with Selena, according to Kpopstarz.
Apparently, Hudgens who is still on a break for the Broadway show took the chance to talk to Selena about her problems with Austin Butler, who seemed to have disappeared from her social media posting.
And in addition to making herself feel better not only with her boyfriend drama, but also after being disappointed for not having a Tony nominations, Vanessa Hudgens reportedly treated herself with shopping.
"In between regularly entertaining a full house through her starring role in Broadway's Gigi: The Musical, Vanessa Hudgens has been making the most of New York City's vast shopping options," Daily Mail reported.
