It's just a few months away before "Ant-Man" hits the theaters and yet fans still wanted to know more about the upcoming Marvel movie. Just recently, Peyton Reed shared some major spoilers on social media.
The director shared two pages from a comic book called "Fred Hembeck Destroys the Marvel Universe #1." According to ComicBook.com, the story was the source of inspiration for his new movie.
"In a major act of self-sabotage, I have decided to spoil the ending of ANT-MAN. Here it is, in two parts. Part One:" he wrote on Twitter. The first page revealed two new characters: Crackers a.k.a. Crown Prince of Death and Water Wizard. There is a huge chance that these villains will appear in "Ant-Man" since Peyton shared them on social media. So who are these characters?
Crackers is a grim reaper-like creature who is responsible for killing both the superheroes and villains in Marvel. Water Wizard, whose real name is Peter van Zante and also called as Aqueduct, had the power to control water and other liquids. He became a notorious criminal and the enemy of Ghost Rider.
Peyton Reed's second spoiler revealed the gruesome death of Scott Lang. "And ANT-MAN Ending Spoiler, Part Two:" he wrote on Twitter. The page of the comic book also hinted an appearance in "Thor 3: Ragnarok" and it may even just be in the post-credits.
In a separate report, the rumors of Paul Rudd's character appearing in another Marvel movie have been confirmed. Deadline reported that Scott Lang a.k.a. Ant-Man will be appearing in "Captain America: Civil War" alongside Steve Rogers/ Captain America (Chris Evans) and Tony Stark/ Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).
Apart from Ant-Man, there have been rumors coming out that Spider-Man will make a cameo in "Captain America 3." Sony and Marvel have already signed a deal, which means that the web-slinging superhero could appear in any Marvel movie before the reboot airs on July 2017.
