This Monday night fans will get to see Erica Dixon battle it out with ex-partner Scrappy in court. While the former couple ended season 4 peacefully, it seems like they're starting season 4 with a bang.
Apparently, Scrappy, whose real name is Darryl Kevin Richardson II, is neglecting child support for two years now and owes Erica over $50,000, which Scrappy vehemently denies, Fashion & Style reported.
"Today me and my baby father are at the lawyer's office to discuss our child support issues," Erica told the greenroom cameras in a sneak peak for "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" season 4 episode 4. "I slapped him with a content order and now his lawyer wants to see if we can settle this outside of the court. But we keep having the same fight over and over. He's saying he doesn't owe anything and I'm saying he does."
Scrappy on the other hand, didn't like what Erica Dixon wants to impose as he insisted that he's taking good care of their daughter, despite his baby mama's complains.
"Erica got the nerve to be acting like I don't take care of my daughter. You ain't even [about to] drag me in the mud like that. So I'm trying to put all this stuff behind me and not go through the little court system stuff 'cause I don't want all them folk in none of my business."
The drama between Erica Dixon and Scrappy is available on Mondays episode of "Love & Hip Hop Altanta" season 4 episode 4, which can be watched via online live stream here or here.
Scrappy's lawyer added that they have evidence to prove that the rapper owes nothing from Erica and they're ready to provide that evidence if the child support issue can't be settled outside of court.
"At the end of the day my daughter is happy. She wants for nothing. We came to a mutual agreement that she take care of her, I take care of her and anytime she need something I give it. That's what I was rolling with," Scrappy explained. "Then she pop up 'cause she not happy one day and be like, 'oh well, I'ma try to be the boss' and do stuff like that."
"We've never had that type of agreement," Erica whispered to her lawyer. "It's been two years since he hasn't paid child support."
Furthermore, Scrappy pointed out that while they were living together, he took care of both Erica and their daughter, questioning if being enganged needed him to pay child support.
"Do you count living [together]? Do you count being engaged? Living and paying bills and all that?" Scrappy asked.
"We weren't engaged then," Erica snapped.
"You're staying in the same house. Why would you give the money?" Scrappy asked.
Even their lawyers are intensely arguing over the matter and for the lawyers to get enganged that much doesn't look good for Scrappy and Erica Dixon.
"You know things are bad when the lawyers are arguing as hard as Scrappy and I do. I was really hoping that we could work through this, but it doesn't seem like that's gonna happen," Erica revealed to greenroom cameras. "So it looks like we're going to court."
