Jennifer tweeted, "Thanks for all the concern about my wrist. Has slowed me down but hasn't stopped me."
The 33-year-old actress, whose Lifetime series will return in 2013, told fans that the injury would not keep her from her duties.
The hit series first aired as a movie on the cable network in 2010. In it, Hewitt plays a struggling Texas housewife who starts working at a massage parlor after her husband leaves her and their children. The parlor secretly offers discreet sexual services to those who are on "the client list", can be trusted and are willing to pay a little extra.
The show co-stars Cybill Shepherd, Colin Egglesfield and Loretta Devine. It has averaged around 2.7 million viewers weekly, making it the most-watched series on Lifetime since "Drop Dead Diva."
