There were rumors that Selena Gomez and Zedd split up because of Justin Bieber.
According to Hollywood Life, the 22-year-old singer still has feelings for her ex-boyfriend.
"Zedd just felt like he would always be number two in Selena's life. He felt like he never really had her heart 100 percent," their source revealed. "She would never admit that she's still in love with Justin, but that's how Zedd feels."
Just recently, the two were spotted attending the Met Ball separately and the "Heart Wants What It Wants" singer looked beautiful in her white gown. Selena shared photos of her dress on Instagram and wrote: "Vera Wang!! Felt like a princess yet again."
According to MTV, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber may not have bumped into each other at the prestigious event but that didn't mean that he didn't notice her. The website reported that Justin rolled down the windows of his car after leaving the after-party and yelled to the crowd "Hey, Selena looked gorgeous at the Met Ball."
In a separate report, the former lovers were texting each other at the after party hosted by Rihanna. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the "Baby" hitmaker and the "Behaving Badly" actress have been talking about reuniting for the past few months.
However, Selena started ignoring the 21-year-old actor when got romantically linked to model Shanina Shaik and to Ariana Grande which allegedly caused her break up with Big Sean.
"She never took his hook-ups with the never-ending parade of models seriously because he knew Justin didn't care about them, but he has always had a crush on Ariana - and Selena knew that he had genuine feelings for the tiny diva," the website reported.
During the Met Gala, the Canadian pop star was again seen with one of his rumored flings and that pissed off the songstress. "Justin didn't actually approach Selena, but he started texting her at the after-party," their source revealed.
"He was trying to get her to leave with him so they could talk in private. He showed some of the text messages to his friends and bragged that Selena could never say no to him, and they were going to hook-up after the party. Selena kept saying things like 'why don't you just leave with Kendall.'"
Based on the reports, Selena Gomez may get back together with Justin Bieber if he would try to avoid hanging out with his rumored flings.
