It seems like Adele has delayed the release date of her new album again.
While it's been previously reported that the "Skyfall" singer is back to record new tracks for her upcoming album, new development suggests that the Grammy-winning singer has taken some time off again, which will most likely affect the schedule of her new album's release.
Digital Spy reported that music producer Emile Haynie, who has been working with Adele, revealed that while they have talked about the project, it's most likely that they will not be working together since the British singer is not yet ready to push through with the new album.
"Adele was awesome, but I don't know if we'll be working together," Haynie said of the singer. "We got along well as friends when we met in February and I hope we can cut some songs, but Adele is taking her time."
"I'd push for it to happen, but we'll have to wait and see."
Adele who had just been in a vacation with her two-year-old son in a journey to "do her own thing" in Nashville reportedly wants to put out a hint of country song to her new album.
"Adele finds Nashville very inspiring," the source of Latin Post said of the songstress' trip. "It is an iconic destination and full of music history. But she also wants to remain low-key."
Digital Spy added that Kelly Clarkson also hinted that Adele is considering to bring country music to her new album.
"Adele I heard is doing something more country-influenced with this next record," said Clarkson.
With the latest developments on Adele's new album, will she still collaborate with music legend Phil Collins?
It has been reported that Adele once cancelled their collaboration due to personal issues but according to Mirror the veteran singer is already working on new tracks for the new album.
"Over the past few months, Phil has been working on the tracks once again," the alleged insider claimed. "Adele put all her work on hold for a while, so it wasn't anything personal. It was just delayed."
Adding, "She did tell Phil that she was prioritizing her personal life at that time, but now that she's back in work mode their track is happening once again."
