Somehow, history has settled who is the greatest boxer of recent generation.
The Floyd Mayweather Jr - Manny Pacquiao fight took place and the one who came out victorious is Pretty Boy who still owns an immaculate record, 48-0. Floyd remains unbeatable but the fact of the matter is both of them won. Financially, the two just got a hundred million dollars richer.
While the Floyd Mayweather Jr - Manny Pacquiao fight helped people determine who is the better fighter, the two legendary boxers have another battle to win and they do not involve boxing gloves and rings. The two are now tangled in a legal battle with different complainants for completely different cases.
Shortly after the Floyd Mayweather Jr - Manny Pacquiao fight, Michael Koncz, Pacman's adviser, revealed to reporters his guy was injured before the fight.
However, their camp did not disclose it to the Nevada Athletic Commissions despite the fact that it is mandatory. Koncz took responsibility to what he describes is an 'inadvertent mistake' but also put the blame on the NAC.
The Nevada Athletics Commissions is not taking this light and so, they are suing Manny Pacquiao's camp for "$5 million in damages for alleged failure to disclose an injury sustained by Pacquiao before Saturday's world unification welterweight championship bout."
Some fans of Pacquiao also sue the Filipino boxing hero for violating the Nevada Deceptive Trade Practices Act. They are crying foul for that shoulder injury revelation which plaintiffs Stephane Vanel and Kami Rahbaran could have prevented them from making the wrong bet had they known about it.
Floyd Mayweather legal battle is completely different though. Pretty Boy, the highest earning athlete in the world, is being sued by his former girlfriend Josie Harris who allegedly beat back in 2010 for defamation. Although Floyd already served two months for this case, the popular boxer denied he beat Harris, the mother of three of his children. Harris thought Floyd is lying.
"Josie Harris is asking for $20 million in damages after the fighter told Yahoo's Katie Couric last month that she was on drugs and he was just trying to hold her back during the altercation," CNN wrote.
Can Floyd Mayweather Jr And Manny Pacquiao survive this new fight?
