Recent "Revenge" season 4 episode guide for the finale called "Two Graves" tells about Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) getting forced to admit her guilt.
This episode, to air on May 10, will the very last episode of the ABC TV series as it has already been canceled last week. There might be no more revenge cycles because of the cancelation. However, people might still see some shades of Emily Thorne and Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe)antics in the network's new drama series called "The Kingmakers."
Rumors have it that this new series, starring Gus Halper on the lead, is a spinoff of "Revenge." Showrunner Sunil Nayar spoke to The Hollywood Reporter to discuss the upcoming "Revenge" season 4 episode and to him, it is not clear yet whether the two are connected.
"No, that rests solely in ABC's hands, he said when asked to confirm if "The Kingsmakers and "Revenge" are connected.
"I read the script and thought it was fantastic. The new guy they cast as the lead (Gus Halper), who plays a man who adopts a new identity to infiltrate a university in order to investigate his sister's death] is supposed to be fantastic. Fingers crossed - I hope it goes forward. ABC will decide if it is a spinoff."
What he is sure about though is the ending will see at least two people in graves. He did not specify though in his "Revenge" season 4 episode guide whether the new casualties will be Emily and Victoria.
"I can say that "Two Graves" is the right title of the episode. We intentionally picked that to harken back to the Confucius quote that kicked off the whole show ("Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves"), and there will be two people in a grave before the end of the episode. The promo teases a sense of who that might be - or not."
