Stacey Dash Endorses Mitt Romney, Treated Cruelly on Twitter For Not Being 'Black Enough'

| By

Stacey Dash, the actress famous for her role in the 90's hit movie "Clueless", caused an uproar on Twitter after she publicly endorsed Republican nominee Mitt Romney for president in the 2012 elections over Barack Obama.

"Vote for Romney. The only choice for your future. @mittromney @teamromney #mittromney #VOTE #voteromney," Dash wrote on her official Twitter page, accompanied by a photo of herself with an American flag.

Stacy Dash, a gorgeous African American woman, got several haters commenting on her tweet saying that she isn't "black enough" and is a traitor to her race for endorsing Romney.

"I knew Stacey Dash was to good to be true after watching Clueless...This lady really is clueless...smh.." wrote Tyrell Smith (@ImmaculateSole).

Following many negative remarks, a new hashtag began to gain popularity #ISupportStaceyDash as more and more Twitter users came out in supporting her right to speak her mind without getting criticized for it.

"I don't get why people are mad at Stacey Dash. She can vote for who wants to that's her right as an American," wrote #IAMACELTIC (@TheMasterBaiter) in support of Stacey Dash.

Meanwhile the 46 year old actress recently reunited with her "Clueless" co-stars for a reunion photo shoot for Entertainment Weekly's latest issue.

Stacey Dash, Alicia Silverstone, Elisa Donovan, Breckin Meyer, Donald Faison and Justin Walker all took part in the photo shoot. Although the Clueless family is now missing Brittany Murphy, who passed away in 2009, they gathered to lovingly reminisce about the 1995 cult classic.
