The divorce rumors on Johnny Depp and Amber Heard ended when the newlyweds were spotted holding hands in Australia.
The actor flew back to Brisbane to resume filming his latest movie "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" and his wife tagged along to celebrate her birthday with him.
The Hollywood couple looked cute together, but there were reports that they aren't as happy as they appear to be. "They hadn't been seen together in two months, and when people started noticing, Johnny realized they needed to present a united front, fast," a source told OK! Magazine.
The 51-year-old actor and the 29-year-old actress got married in a private island last February, but they had to ditch their honeymoon to focus on their work. Johnny Depp went to Australia to shoot some scenes for the latest installment of "Pirates of the Caribbean" while Amber Heard was spotted in the UK filming "The Danish Girl."
The newlyweds looked in love a few months ago, but they seem to have gotten tired of each other quickly. According to Star Magazine (via Celeb Dirty Laundry), Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are just pretending that they are fine. "The couple is trying to appear happy by parading around hand-in-hand for the locals, but an on-set source says they couldn't be any further from the truth," their source said.
They also revealed that the two kept on fighting all the time even on small things such as their order for lunch. Apart from the constant bickering, Johnny allegedly spends a lot of time getting drunk while Amber was seen partying with her rumored girlfriend iO Tillet Wright.
However, E! Online claims that the divorce rumors on Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are not true. "They've always been together," their source revealed. "They travel for work then come home. They live together and are very much in love, despite what's being said about breakup rumors."
