"Now You See Me: The Second Act" didn't just cast veterans of magic in its lineup ("Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe).
According to Mark Rufallo, the sequel will be dishing out a lot more surprises.
Now that Jon Chu has taken over the directorial chair from Louis Leterrier, there will reportedly be "lots of twists. And lots of fun."
"[It's] very cool, Jon Chu brings a whole other kind of syntax to it." Rufallo told Collider in an interview.
The Academy Award-nominated actor also shared that the new film will also have both big "production magic" and the "[sleight] of hand stuff."
"And there's a really satisfying [sleight] of hand thing that goes on and on and on. It's [sleight] of hand, it's card manipulation, it's very cool," he continued.
The "Now You See Me: The Second Act" also added several new faces to its cast. As mentioned earlier, Daniel Radcliffe will be returning to the magical world through this film. Asian superstar Jay Chou signed up for the sequel as well.
"Masters Of Sex" star Lizzy Caplan will also be joining the group, however, Isla Fisher will reportedly be sitting the sequel out to focus on her third child.
"Family is 100 percent my top priority. So I'm much more comfortable doing supporting roles right now. And often," the "Arrested Development" star said in a past interview. "They're the most interesting. You get to be a character actress."
Collider believes Lizzy Caplan will be taking over Fisher's position in the team. On the other hand, Radcliffe will reportedly play Michael Caine's son.
Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco have all signed up to reprise their roles in "Now You See Me: The Second Act" along with Mark Rufallo and Caine.
In the meantime, Rufallo is back in another sequel. This time, he reprised his role as The Hulk in "Avengers: Age Of Ultron".
"Now You See Me: The Second Act" will be released on June 10, 2016.
