It looks like parents-to-be Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are making the most of their free time before the baby comes.
As the Academy Award-nominated actor said in a past interview, he has been "nesting" with his new wife and preparing for the upcoming birth of their son or daughter. According to recent reports, it seems that the couple want their family to experience the country life.
The Isle Of Wight County Press reported that Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter went back to the place of their wedding reception just two months after getting married. The publication also revealed that they purchased a "pad" near the village where he married the theater director.
Could the newly married couple be planning to start their family here?
Cumberbatch had been excited to start "nesting" with his wife and to prepare for the baby's birth. Being the private person that he is, the Isle of Wight property could be the best place to spend quality time with his wife and unborn child.
However, he also reportedly viewed a place in California and recently purchased a £3 million property in North London. According to Design and Trend, it's still unclear as to where exactly the couple plan to raise their soon-to-be-born son or daughter.
Nevertheless, that doesn't change the fact that the "Sherlock" star is very excited to "meet my child" already figuring out that he or she will be the "most important part of my life, as it should be".
"I've been on muddy fields and on horseback playing Richard III for the BBC and I've been on more flights to Los Angeles and back than I can count," the 38-year-old previously told Daily Mail about his new role as a dad. "All of that has been special, but I'm ready to have a couple of months to ourselves to prepare for the baby and do some nesting. It's a real-life role, not a part."
Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter will reportedly be meeting their new baby this summer.
