Jenner isn't the only transgender celeb in Hollywood. Prior to the reality star's announcement, other models, actors, and hosts have come out and made a name for themselves in the industry.
Some of the most popular ones include Cher and Sonny Bono's son, Chaz Bono, who has been a gay rights activist since 2009. "Orange Is The New Black" star Laverne Cox is also known for being the first transgender woman to be nominated for an Emmy award in acting.
Meanwhile, Isis King was the first transgender model who competed in the Tyra Banks-hosted reality show "America's Next Top Model".
Other transgender models include Leah T., Jenna Talackova, and Ines Rau.
Alexis Arquette, on the other hand, appeared in "Pulp Fiction", "The Wedding Singer" and "Californication". She's also an activist, musician and cabaret performer.
Writer Janet Mock was famous for authoring the book "Redefining Realness: My Path to Womanhood, Identity, Love & So Much More." Meanwhile, reality star Carmen Carrera appeared on the season three of "RuPaul's Drag Race."
Just like Bruce Jenner, Olympic pole vaulter who was born as Yvonne Buschbaum chose to become a man. He renamed himself as Balian Buschbaum.
