It's been a while since Kenda Wilkinson's marriage with husband Hank Baskett has been jeopardized following a cheating scandal involving a transgender named, Ava London.
The controversy, which gained popularity late last year made the couple stronger now, but during the whole dilemma both Kenda and Hand admitted in an interview with Entertainment Wise that they considered taking their own lives just to escape from the scandal.
The "Kendra on Top" star fearlessly recalled the whole Ava London cheating scandal scenario admitting that she "was at a real low" the whole time.
"I even questioned my life," she confessed.
However, she quickly discouraged the thought as she started thinking about her children, most importantly her infant daughter at the time of the controversy.
"If it wasn't for breastfeeding (daughter) Alijah, the bond I had with her, I feel like I would have probably ended my life," she explained
Adding, "I felt like I'm not even supposed to be here."
As Kendra Wilkinson confessed, her husband Hank Baskett also admitted that there was a point in his life where he wanted to take his own life.
"There was a point when I felt I couldn't defend myself and there was no way for me to make it through this," the 32-year-old American football player confessed to Us Weekly.
"It's an extremely tough feeling, but I realized there's no way I could ever check out on my kids and my wife."
Adding, "I'm not a quitter."
However, the couple remained strong as they try to work things out for their marriage and for their children.
They are now considering to renew their vows, which they both believe could help their relationship to get better, In Touch Weekly reported.
"Renewing our vows is definitely something that we're thinking about, I just don't like cheese ball stuff," Wilkinson confirmed.
"I would want to read our own vows. I think it's really important - especially now, getting over what we went through and entering a place we've never been before."
In conclusion, the 29-year-old former playboy playmate happily assured supporters that she and her husband are now doing better.
"We're working on (our marriage) minute-to-minute, every day. I believe we're on the road to being better than ever," Kendra Wilkinson shared, reported by In Touch Weekly.
"(Sometimes) you need a shake-up to get to a place you've never been before."
"Right now, we're in a great place," Hank Baskett said in agreement to Kendra Wilkinson.
