Cleveland Cavaliers – Chicago Bulls Playoffs Preview: Derrick Rose Thinks This Is The Best-Equipped Team To Beat Lebron James

| By

For most of the season, Chicago Bulls had to find ways to present a formidable line-up. Their road to the playoffs was not that easy due to recurring injuries to several key players.

The most notable of which is to former MVP Derrick Rose who spent two seasons on the sidelines. In the elimination round of this season, he was always in and out due to his former injuries, leaving Bulls fans on the edge of their seats. The story is completely different now in the post-season, Derrick Rose assures. In fact, he is optimistic with their chances against Lebron James and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Cleveland Cavaliers - Chicago Bulls playoffs match up is one of the most anticipated in the second round. Lebron and his crew easily fend off Boston Celtics via sweep while Bulls ended Milwaukee Bucks' dreams with a 54-point rout in game six. Despite the Cavs having some rest, Rose feels his Bulls, which he thinks is more equipped than ever, is capable of beating the Ohio franchise.

"I think so," Derrick Rose said shortly after their win against Milwaukee Bucks. "But it's no excuses. It's no excuses. When you're in the playoffs, the guys that you have on your team, the guys that I had on my team in the past, at the time I wouldn't have traded them for anything in the world. We was in a battle, we just lost to them in a series a couple of times so we get a chance to redeem ourselves and really go out there and compete again."

Rose also thinks Cleveland Cavaliers - Chicago Bulls Playoffs match up will be a mental game.

"Take it like every other series," Rose said. "They're a great team. They've got a lot of experience on their team. [They've] got a lot of young players on their team, got a lot of young players on that team that's willing to show people what they have. Just got to be ready for them. You know when you play against them you got to get back, you got to take their momentum away and it should be a fun series."
