Emma Roberts Wants To Become Her ‘Scream Queens’ Character In Real Life! Calls Chanel A ‘Mean Girl’ In A ‘Very Funny Way’

| By

Instead of joining the fifth season of "American Horror Story," Emma Roberts will be in "Scream Queens," Ryan Murphy's upcoming horror comedy series on Fox.

The 24-year-old was reportedly recruited by the showrunner himself even before "American Horror Story: Freak Show" finished filming.

According to the TV and movie star, her character, Chanel Oberlin, is "a bit of a mean girl but in a very funny way."

Being the ultimate queen bee in the fictional Wallace University as well as the Kappa house president, she certainly has a lot of followers who want to have what she has.

Even Roberts herself told Entertainment Weekly that she wants to be Chanel - well at least because of her fashion.

"The clothes are amazing. Actually a lot of the clothes are vintage Chanel. I already have dibs on half my wardrobe," she gushed. "Everything is very pastel. Everyone has sort of certain colors they wear."

She's not the only one who wants what Chanel wants. The sorority's new recruit, Hester (played by Lea Michele) also has her eye on the Queen Bee.

This girl wants everything Chanel has and will do anything to get it," Ryan Murphy previously revealed about Michele's character. In fact, despite having to wear a neckbrace all the time due to scoliosis, she will supposedly undergo "a great turn that happens half-way through the season with that character."

Meanwhile, Emma Robert's "Scream Queens" character will be kept busy trying to figure out who has been tormenting the sorority by killing people on campus.

What's exciting, however, is that even Roberts doesn't know who the Red Devil killer actually is.

"It is similar to '(American) Horror Story' in the sense that where everything is kinda kept really secret, you never know what's going to happen," she revealed. "I had dinner with Ryan just him and I and he still wouldn't tell me!"

Catch Emma Roberts on "Scream Queens" when it airs on Fox this fall.
